Directly at the Varel harbor. More restaurant than brewery. But the idea is not bad. And there is beer too.

We have been here very often. The food buffet fish or schnitzel or kale everything is great and tastes great. Also highly recommended for buses with advance booking 👌👌👌👌👌

We always come here when we are on the North Sea with the family. We are always satisfied with the food and the beer from the in-house brewery also tastes very good!

Right at the beginning we had to wait a relatively long time for a card. When the waiter came to our table, he only put the wipe on the table regarding infection tracking and was overwhelmed with our question for a card. Only after we explained that we would like something to drink did he bring the drinks menu. A 0.2l of tap water for 90 cents is a good price range for "water" if you consider "1 liter of tap water costs an average of 0.2 cents in Germany." You could offer at least 0.3 or 0.4 liters for 90 cents, then enough is earned from it.

Some unfriendly and very slow staff, the boss the rudest of all. Haven't heard of customer service and friendliness yet! Not again!!

The food is good, your own beer is also very good, the service could be better. We asked for a nightcap after dinner and received the menu, but no one came to take the order. I know it differently .. but other places have different customs ..

In my opinion, a few points should be changed here. First of all: Enter the data for the purpose of Corona? Nothing. Well, the staff wears nose and mouth masks, but the boss probably doesn't think that's necessary and just taps and cuts cakes. That brings me to the second point: draft beer. Pils and dunkers were not drinkable, obviously a hygienic problem, which unfortunately, unfortunately, is widespread in gastronomy (the same beer from the bottle is great). It's a shame for the brewer, whose beer unfortunately comes across very differently than it should. Last but not least, the staff is not very attentive. Ordering something is only possible after a long wait and asking. And that the completely messed up table needs to be cleaned, nobody comes to that without a request. Pity! Unfortunately, drinking beer in the adjoining hotel was a lot more fun. The food was ok, I just imagined it was at least a little bit salted under boiled potatoes;)

We have been here several times. Both the breakfast buffet and the range of fish specialties are great. The menu is manageable but sufficient. We found the quality to be good. There is also a rich fish buffet. The Tide beer is really delicious. The dark is particularly recommended.

There are three things to say. First of all, the food is really delicious. Especially the buffet is very recommendable, as it has a LARGE and delicious selection. However, there are two things to complain about. After placing our order, we found out that there was no arugula on the burger and instead it was replaced with parsley leaf. When we asked the waiter about it, he said that the rocket was out. That would have to be mentioned beforehand, as this was an important part of the meal. The second is that the toilets are not exactly in the cleanest condition. These should definitely be cleaned more often, otherwise you really won't want to use them anymore.

I had redfish FILET. When asked why I have bones in the FILET, I was told that the fish comes here frozen and is not filleted here and that you can not assume that the fillet has no bones. After I said again when paying that the fillet had bones, the boss said that it was bad luck and I could have said something beforehand ... I expect more from a fish restaurant in the harbor. And of service too !!!

!!!NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!! Cheeky fraud! A discount for children was shown on the menu for the buffet, but neither said nor did it show on the menu until when a child was a child. Very rude and unappealing restaurant manager.

Corona rules were followed in an exemplary manner. The menu is manageable, but very tasty. The service very friendly.

Nice restaurant on the harbor. Tried the beer there and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beer and the taste.

Captain was good the fish was juicy, the potatoes were very tasty. The redfish was good too. The remulade was very good. Only the sauce with a lot of spring onions, I found not so good because the onions the fine taste of the fish buried. Price and quantity is right, the food was very fast. The Alster was also very good. We were there at 18 o'clock on Friday.

Here we had breakfast. Nice location at the Vareler harbor. The breakfast was ok. The service was friendly and it was also regularly laid out. Glass bowls were temporarily out.

A beautifully located restaurant by the harbor ... Nice prepared and appealing menu with a great selection. Fish, steak, burger, salad. The food was super fresh and really delicious. A fish buffet was offered at lunchtime .... very good The service was very friendly, but could have been more attentive. Therefore minus a star. We would love to come back.
